I purchased a CLE book with a download and lost the link. How can I access my book?

Log in to cle.scbar.org and access your CLE Dashboard. From the Dashboard, click on the Purchase History tab to access your download.

What are the dates for the 2024 After-Thanksgiving Book Sale?

The 2024 After-Thanksgiving Book Sale will begin at 9:00 am, on Monday, December 2nd, and will end at 5:00 pm, Friday, December 13th.

Traditionally this sale runs for the two weeks following the Thanksgiving holiday.

How can I become a CLE book author?

Have a book idea, see a topic area CLE does not cover, already have a draft manuscript written, please reach out to Alicia Hutto, CLE Publications Director, at ahutto@scbar.org or 803-576-3819, and get some information and details.

Placing an Order?

May I visit the SC Bar Conference Center to pick-up a book(s) or place a walk-in order?

Yes!

How can I place an order for a CLE book?

You have five options on how to place your order. Pick the right one for you!

  1. Order online anytime at www.cle.scbar.org
  2. Mail an order form with payment to: SC Bar CLE – Publications, PO Box 608, Columbia, SC 29201
  3. Call 803-771-0333 ext. 126 or ext. 122.
  4. Come to the Bar Conference Center at 1501 Park Street
  5. Scan your order form and email it to publications@scbar.org

Does the SC Bar-CLE Division invoice for books and software products?

No. The South Carolina Bar-CLE Division does not invoice. Payment is due at the time of order. CLE accepts cash, checks, money orders, and credit cards (American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa).

 

Seminar Handout Materials

As a Bar member, may I download past seminar handout materials for free?

Yes, click here. This homepage includes all available books, as well as available past seminar handout materials. You may use the search features to define and narrow your search.

What if I do not see what I am looking for in this list?

Due to server space capacity, the availability of past seminar handout materials generally includes only the past two years.

How many past seminar handout materials may I download?

You may download as many past seminar handout materials as you would like, but please download only one set at a time. If you try to download multiple sets at once, the download will not work.

 

Shipping, Returns & Refunds

How does CLE ship book orders?

All books are shipped via UPS. Please note that we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. When placing an order, you must provide a full physical address. If we do not receive a full physical address, we will contact you before shipping.

How much does shipping cost and how fast can I expect my book to ship?

Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipping.

Shipping charges are as follows:

  • $1 – $50.99: $10.00
  • $51 – $100.99: $15.00
  • $101 & up: $20.00

What is the SC Bar - CLE Division's return and refund policy on books and software purchases?

The South Carolina Bar cannot be responsible for lost or damaged materials shipped via carriers to include, UPS, USPS, or Fed-Ex. Damage claims must be submitted to the third-party carrier. (Note: If you receive a damaged parcel, save the damaged packaging for submission with your claim to the third-party carrier.)
