This 6-hour CLE, jointly sponsored by the SC Bar and Disability Rights South Carolina, addresses some of the major concerns faced by attorneys representing vulnerable adults across the state. Lawyers with vulnerable clients, both aging and disabled, must address issues such as abuse and neglect, alternative decision making, and involuntary commitment. Attorneys must also plan how to protect their clients’ interests if they are incapacitated.       

 

This seminar is an intermediate level program.
