Chan has also served as a Press Advisor at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul-where he earned the U.S. Department of State's Employee of the Year Award-and worked as a
communications specialist for Samsung, a Seoul-based global conglomerate. He has also worked as a fashion designer, a wine consultant, an interpreter/translator, and a tour guide in Western Europe.

Deborah Davis
Deborah earned her undergraduate degree with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Terry College of Business with the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Prior to entering the legal profession, Deborah had fourteen years in the business world with a diverse background in management, accounting, finance, sales, customer service, administration, and marketing. Deborah also is an alumnus from the Savannah Chamber of Commerce Leadership of Savannah program.
Deborah earned her juris doctorate with the Savannah Law School, a branch of Atlanta John Marshall School of Law, in Savannah, Georgia. During law school, Deborah was a S.B.A. Evening Class Representative, a member of the Mock Trial Team, and a member of Savannah Law Review. Deborah's Note Bank on Marijuana: A Legitimate Industry Warranting Banking Access was published in the Savannah Law Review in 2015.
During law school, Deborah won various awards including, but not limited to, the CALI Award for Business Organizations, the CALI award for Trial Advocacy, the Excellence award in Pro Bono Service, the Legal Writing Citator Award, the Outstanding Achievement in the Student Note Award.
Deborah began her legal career as a clerk for the Superior Court in the Eastern Judicial Circuit in Savannah, Georgia. Then, Deborah was a legal clerk for Tate Law Group, a plaintiff's personal injury law firm in Savannah, Georgia. Subsequently thereafter, Deborah had two pro bono legal internships with the Chatham County District Attorney of the Eastern Judicial Circuit and the Office of the Circuit Public Defender of the Eastern Judicial Circuit in Savannah, Georgia. Deborah opened her own practice in 2017, and she has continued as a solo practitioner ever since.
Deborah's practice areas include contract law, business law, tort law, personal injury, probate and estate planning, landlord-tenant law, and general civil litigation. Deborah has had various speaking engagements concerning landlord-tenant law in the Greenville area in South Carolina. Landlord-tenant law has been part of Deborah practice since opening her firm. Deborah represents both landlords and tenants in both residential and commercial landlord-tenant disputes. Frederick Jekel
Fritz was born outside of Buffalo, New York on December 14, 1965, the sixth of seven children. He moved to South Carolina after attending Notre Dame High School in New Hartford, New York. He enrolled at the University of South Carolina, immediately fell in love with the area and locals, and decided to make South Carolina his home.
Fritz obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in December of 1989, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School Of Law in 1993.
Fritz moved to Charleston in 1993 after obtaining his law degree and lived there through 2015. From 1993 to 2008 he worked for Ness, Motley, Loadholt Richardson and Poole/Motley Rice as a trial attorney. He managed nationwide lead poisoning litigation, trying cases in South Carolina, North Carolina, Missouri, Illinois, Ohio and West Virginia. Working on lead poisoning cases was greatly fulfilling for Fritz because it allowed him to help those that needed good, solid legal representation the most.
Fritz has litigated to verdict several asbestos cases with multi-million dollar verdicts and resolved major high profile litigation. He still serves as trial counsel for asbestos firms throughout the country.
In October of 2015, Fritz wanted to get back to Columbia and the University setting and moved his office Columbia, SC. James J. Leventis (“JL”) was a close personal friend of Fritz's since his days at the University of South Carolina. Through that friendship, Fritz met Rob Ransom after moving to Charleston, and the three remained friends until JL's unfortunate passing in 2017. At that point, Rob and Fritz decided to join forces and continue as Leventis & Ransom.

Marvin Pendarvis
Marvin grew up in North Charleston, South Carolina in the Charleston Farms neighborhood. As a product of the public schools in North Charleston and Garrett Academy of Technology, he understands the importance of education and opportunity in our community. Marvin is a 2011 honors graduate of the University of South Carolina. Marvin's commitment to advocacy led him to the University of South Carolina School of Law of which he is a 2014 graduate. Marvin was admitted to the South Carolina Bar the same year. Without hesitation, Marvin returned back to North Charleston where he is currently practicing law doing Personal Injury and Criminal Defense. Marvin understands the importance of maintaining an active and caring presence in his community. In a short period of time, Marvin has become a vocal leader on many key issues, and has shown an ability to develop key relationships that aid him in pushing his platform and the people's agenda.

Nichole Davis
Nichole Davis serves as Risk Management Director at the South Carolina Bar and as administrator of the South Carolina Supreme Court's Lawyer Mentoring Program. Prior to joining the SC Bar staff, Nichole litigated child abuse and neglect cases on behalf of the Department of Social Services. Nichole is a member of Leadership South Carolina class of 2019, a member of the ABA Collaborative Bar Leadership Academy Class of 2019, and a member of the SC Bar Leadership Academy Class of 2015. She is a recipient of the 2018 Silver Compleat Lawyer Award and in 2016, she was named SC Bar Young Lawyer of the Year. Nichole currently serves on the ABA Standing Committee on Professionalism. She is a member of the National Association of Bar Executives (Diversity Committee), National Legal Mentoring Consortium, SC Bar Diversity Committee, and the SC Women Lawyers Association. Nichole also serves as an adjunct professor at UofSC Law and as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for The RAM Foundation, which offers a free 6-week summer enrichment program to underprivileged youth.

Philip Creel
Philip Creel is a Supervising Attorney for the Columbia office of South Carolina Legal Services, Inc. He is a 1980 graduate of the Duke University School of Law. He belongs to the South Carolina and West Virginia bars. He is a former chair of the S.C. Legal Services Inc. Housing Task Force. He has been a speaker at legal services trainings, SC Bar CLE's, trainings of the South Carolina Summary Court Judges Association and at numerous community education events. He has litigated many landlord-tenant disputes, including Prevatte v. Asbury Arms, 302 S.C. 413, 396 S.E. 2d 642 (Ct. App. 1990).

Robert Wilcox
Robert M. Wilcox is a professor and former Dean at the University of
South Carolina School of Law. He joined
the faculty in 1986 and served as Dean of the School of Law from 2011-2020.
A Charleston native, Professor Wilcox earned his undergraduate degree
from Duke University and his law degree from University of South Carolina in
1981. He practiced at Dow, Lohnes & Albertson in Washington, D.C., and
Atlanta (now Cooley LLP) before joining the USC Law School faculty. He has taught professional responsibility for
many years and has been active in developing professionalism initiatives within
the school and the South Carolina Bar. From 2003-08, he served as Director of
the Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough Center on Professionalism at the
School of Law, which is a national leader in lawyer mentoring and other
professionalism initiatives. He also teaches property law and wills and trust
law.
Professor Wilcox has been a member of the South Carolina Bar since 1981.
He serves currently on the South Carolina Chief Justice's Commission on the
Profession. He formerly served on the South Carolina Judicial Merit Selection
Commission and the South Carolina Commission on Judicial Conduct and is a
former chair of the South Carolina Bar Ethics Advisory Committee. He is a
member of the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court in Columbia and currently serves
as President of the South Carolina Supreme Court Historical Society.
He is a recipient of the
South Carolina Bar Foundation’s DuRant Distinguished Public Service Award, the
Richland County Bar’s John W. Williams Distinguished Service Award, the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court
Rhodes-McDonald Award, the USC School of Law Gold Compleat Lawyer Medallion,
and the Order of the Palmetto.

Todd Lyle
Todd concentrates in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, products liability, nursing home abuse and neglect, and debtors & creditors' disputes. Todd also has an extensive background in real estate, construction and property related matters. Todd is a 2003 graduate of The Citadel where he graduated with honors and obtained a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Todd was also inducted into the national engineering honor society, Tau Beta Pi, during his time at The Citadel.
Upon graduation, Todd first worked for a civil engineering firm before starting his own business focused on land development, the buying and selling of residential real estate as well as property management. Throughout the remainder of the 2000s, Todd and his company bought and sold more than 200 individual properties throughout the midlands of South Carolina. The majority of these purchases were distressed properties and/or houses in default. It was during this time that Todd honed his skills negotiating debt on behalf of debtors in default.
Todd earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law and was admitted to practice in 2015. As a law student, Todd was Vice-Chair of the Honor Committee as well as the Technology Editor of the South Carolina Law Review. In law school, Todd earned several honors to include the CALI awards for Torts and Construction Law. Upon graduating from Law School, Todd clerked for the Honorable R. Knox McMahon, Circuit Court Judge for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit.
Due to his previous experience in real estate, before law school, Todd continues to be actively involved in real estate marketing, sales and development. Along with practicing law, Todd has maintained his real estate license and supervises twelve real estate agents where he is is co-owner and broker-in-charge of Todd Realty Partners, in Lexington, South Carolina.
Todd is also a rated aviation officer and a reserve member of the South Carolina Army National Guard. Todd has over 1000 hours of flight time in an Apache helicopter as well as over 300 combat hours in Iraq and Kuwait.
